4.5.6 Skin is an independant skincare brand that handles every aspect of our product creation in-house. We meticulously research, develop, test, and manufacture all our products in our proprietary laboratory in France, ensuring unparalleled quality and innovation in every item we offer. Our commitment to full-stack production allows us to maintain strict control over the entire process, from initial concept to final formulation, guaranteeing that our customers receive the best skincare solutions tailored to their needs
Where do we ship?
We currently ship worldwide from two locations*
FROM OUR UK WAREHOUSE we ship ready-made orders to the UK, USA, Canada and ROW.
FROM OUR FRANCE WAREHOUSE, we ship All customised orders and EU orders
UK Shipping
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 Services for our UK orders - these orders are tracked from posting to the delivery point for the recipient.
This tracked UK service gives a predicted day and estimated time of delivery by SMS and/or email to the recipient, with In-flight delivery options.
Proof of delivery is validated by the scan at delivery, photo on delivery as well as online delivery confirmation with GPS map.
A shipping confirmation email will be sent to you at time of dispatch with your RM Tracking Code and tracking link.
USA, Canada & ROW Shipping
We use Royal Mail International Tracked Services for our USA, Canada and ROW orders - these orders are tracked from posting to the delivery point for the recipient.
Once the parcel has moved through the UK, this then goes into the destination country's shipping service, still tracked for the duration of transit.
Proof of delivery is validated by the scan at delivery, and in many countries photo at delivery.
A shipping confirmation email will be sent to you at time of dispatch with your RM Tracking Code and tracking link.
*Moreover, any customs charges are your responsibility for deliveries outside the European Economic Area.
Europe Shipping
FROM OUR WAREHOUSE IN FRANCE we ship to France and the rest of Europe
Customised Order
Please note, ALL customised orders will always be freshly prepared and shipped from our warehouse in France.
Missing Item
Our order preparation process is recorded at our lab for accuracy. If your order arrives with an item missing, please contact us at hello@456skin.com. We will review the footage of your order's preparation and if we find an error on our part, we will reship the missing item. Please note that missing items are eligible for replacement but not for a refund.
Custom Fees
Please note that our overseas shipments (excluding France and the EU) are sent on a delivery duty unpaid (DDU) basis. Because duties and taxes are collected by the government in the country where the goods are received (and not by 4.5.6 skin), 4.5.6 Skin does not accept any liability for additional taxes and charges relating to clearing your goods through customs and we can not reimburse for these expenses.
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to cover the customs fees for our UK customers if customized products are ordered.
Check with your local customs office regarding potential import duties and taxes applicable in your country. This policy also applies to items returned to us by customers.
Address Changes
Please ensure you enter the correct shipping address when placing your order, as shipping companies charge us for any address changes. We are unable to alter your address information once the order has been placed and will ship to the address provided. We cannot be held responsible for any charges or delivery issues that occur due to incorrect address information.
Returns For Overseas Returns
As a brand committed to sustainability, our mission is to minimise our carbon footprint as much as possible. Therefore, we no longer accept returns from the US, Canada, and other international locations ( Excl. UK, EU) due to the absence of local warehouses. This policy helps reduce the environmental impact associated with long-distance shipping.

Returns - I have changed my mind
- If your order has not yet shipped, we can easily cancel it for you.
- However, if your order has already been dispatched, please note that 4.5.6 Skin does not cover any charges related to returning the order
Returns - Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please email us photos of all items as you received them, still in their packaging, at hello@456skin.com. We will file a claim with our shipping partner and arrange for a replacement order. Please note that damaged items are eligible for replacement only, not for a refund.
Refund Policy
We understand that skincare is a deeply personal journey and even the highest quality, purest products might not meet everyone's needs. To support your skincare decisions, we offer a 30-days refund policy with the following conditions:
1) Products must be unopened or minimally used. We can no longer refund products that have been used more than 20% of the bottle.
2) Products must be returned in their original primary and outer packaging and must be received in good condition.
3) In the case of a visible skin irritation that we can clearly determine is a result of using only our products. We can offer a free consultation on how to modulate your routine and optimise your experience and results. Alternatively, a reformulation of the product will be provided if the client can give substantial evidence that they did not use anything besides our product and we determine, in our discretion, that it is true. In this case, we will bear the cost of return shipping.
In the event that the client decides that they no longer want the product, provided that the package has not been opened nor the product used. You will be responsible for any fee associated with shipping the products back to us. After we have received the product, we will then refund the customer back the amount used to purchase the product.
4) In the event that the purchased product is faulty, broken, or damaged before it gets to the customer, we will accept returns and bear the cost for the return shipping. We will offer to send a replacement of the product purchased to the customer or issue a refund if the customer is no more interested in purchasing the product. However, we will not offer replacements or refunds for orders or items that are reported missing or damaged that we reasonably believed to have been delivered to a parcel forwarding company.
You have 30 days after the purchased product has been shipped to return the item after which no returns shall be accepted.
Refund Processing
Once we receive your returned products and inspect them for compliance with our return policy, we will process your refund or formula adjustment promptly. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow some time for the processing of your return, which may vary depending on your payment provider.
