WHAT IS A PHOTOTYPE ?
If you have skin then you need to know about phototypes.
Phototypes are determined by how much melanin you have in your skin.
They influence how your skin reacts to the sun, cosmetic procedures and ingredient dosages.
There are 6 phototypes: I, II, III (white skin) and IV, V, VI (light brown to black skin).
Phototypes IV, V, VI, have a different skin physiology and have been historically overlooked in skincare research and testing.
That's where we come in...
Our team has 20+ years of experience treating the unique needs of phototypes IV, V and VI, addressing the functional and physiological differences of skin tone through science.
