As you may already know, most skincare products are made of up to 80% water. And guess what water they use? Tap water, of course. 

Tap water contains impurities and contaminants, such as chlorine and heavy metals, which can irritate the skin and cause dryness or sensitivity. Additionally, it lacks essential minerals and nourishing properties, which leads to less effective hydration and revitalization of the skin.

On the other hand, at 4.5.6 Skin we use a special form of water that we create in our very own lab. It’s called Hexagonal water, and we use it in ALL our products.

This type of water has the awesome ability to dive deep into your skin, hydrating like nobody's business and leaving your skin looking and feeling amazing. 

We don’t use hexagonal water because it’s “cool.” We use it because it’s EXACTLY what darker skin tones need. Here’s why:

The structure of darker skin is often thicker and prone to water loss, leading to dehydration. Traditional skincare hydration, heavy on occlusives like plastics, suits lighter tones but not darker ones. 

For deeper hydration, we replenish and fortify the skin with plastic-free occlusives. That’s why we use Hexagonal water. 

By turning water into an active ingredient, we combat dehydration, inflammation, and weakness specific to darker skin tones.

Quite frankly, just our water alone blows other brands out of the water.
